Pez for Pets

Who doesn’t remember the Pez candy dispenser? Some of you probably even have a collection of them. The first Pez candy dispenser appeared in 1950….well before MY time and I found it interesting that the candy was originally marketed as an adult mint for people trying to quit smoking. With over 500 different heads on these hot collector items, Pez is soaring to a new level. Who knew that there would be such a thing as Pez for Pets. Pez for Pets takes the classic Pez dispenser and transforms it into a larger, doggie-styled dispenser for bone-shaped cheese, beef and bacon flavored treats. The dispensers are currently available with Hound and Beagle heads. For more information, visit www.petpez.com

Croc’s For Your Pet

Posted in educational, fashion, what's new  by cindy on April 6th, 2009

sasquatch-pet-bedEverywhere you look people are wearing crocs. They have become the “voice of feet” from newborn to nursing home. Imagine my surprise, while strolling through the Pet Expo in Orlando, when I spotted this pet bed in the shape of a croc!!! I have to say it is pretty funny. They call it the Sasquatch Pet Bed. It comes in six colors and has a sock that can be easily removed for washing. All I could think when I saw this was “WOW”!!! Now you and your pet can match!!! The only difference is the removable sock. You don’t have one, so I hope your feet don’t stink. To find the Sasquatch Pet Bed go to www.sasquatchpetbeds.com

Carmel, California for Spring Break anyone??????

Posted in Uncategorized, educational, entertainment, funny facts, travel  by cindy on February 7th, 2009

There are always two big questions when it comes time to plan a trip. What are we going to do with the dogs? and where should we go? I think I have your answer for you. If it’s not your answer, it might be mine:-) Looks like “Carmel-by-the-Sea: Dog Heaven on Earth” is where everyone will be happy. In this read you will find that they have everything covered. The hotels, restaurants, shops and galleries welcome canine companions, with some going as far as to offer special doggie menus and treats. For example one of the restaurants offers “a Quarter Hounder”. The latest addition is a drinking fountain called “The Fountain of Woof”. Here is the link to read more and plan your trip.
