We are in full Holiday mode around here.  All the hustling and bustling getting ready for the upcoming holidays!!!  I always like to find the most unique gifts for the fur kids that live at our house,  and this year has proven to be no different:-)   I love to make my own dog treats from time to time and this nifty pan that I found is perfect for just that!!!  It makes 10 dog bone treats at one time in the silicone pan and the recipes are included!  I’m going to have to have one of those for sure!  I don’t know about you….but I have stockings that need to be full on Christmas morning and this will be perfect!

Something else that I happened to find on my great “holiday gift hunt” were these little dog bone shaped cakes!   They are the perfect size for my two fur babies when we decide to have a party!  Sometimes we just pretend that someone is having a birthday just to have a party:-)   The other thing that’s cool about these is that they are microwavable with a candle included:-)  Another perfect stocking stuffer…..for a fur kid or its’ owner!

So now you should be all set for the holidays!!!   Just don’t forget to throw in a new collar, harness and leash:-)

I love fireworks ~ in fact ~ we ARE the firework entertainment for our lake:-)  My dogs  hate it!!!  My little Brassy Sue has no idea that it’s her pappa that is shooting all those fireworks!!!  When it’s all over, he arrives on the scene, and she tells him everything that happened while he was gone:-)))  She’s a pappa’s girl so once again……he looks like the hero!  Bomber Moose is a momma’s boy and he hates it but he hangs in there with me until the end.  If you have the same issues with loud noises with your dog, here is a link to check out.  There are quite a few things available to try.  I think I’m going to try the DAP collar ~ let me know what you tried and how it worked for you:-)     http://vetmedicine.about.com/od/diseasesandconditions/a/Noise-Phobia-Tips-For-Coping.htm
