Halloween is Happenin’

What a fun ~ fun time we had this year trick-or-treating:-) The costumes were the best….everyone thought we were all soooo cute:-))) Kippy was a blue Blow Fish, Lily was a Banana Split, Bomber Moose was a Monkey and I, Brassy Sue, was a witch!!! On Saturday we got to go to Auntie’s Studio www.colorsplashstudio.com and pass out candy to all the kids in town. Whew!!! I’ve never seen so many kids in all my dog years!!! On Sunday we got to dress up in our costumes again ~ but THIS time WE got to be the kids:-) First stop was Grandma’s house. She always has lots of people at her house on Halloween and everybody loved our costumes!!! Grandma’s are the best because she always have special treats for us:-))) Mom doesn’t know that Grandma has a special “stash” just for us kids….and we’re not telling her:-) Hope your Halloween treatin’ was as fun as ours!!!

Wow!!!! The things that I come across when I’m not even looking. These Business Bags are sooo cool!!! They give a whole new look to “poop bags”. Croc’s For Your Pet

Everywhere you look people are wearing crocs. They have become the “voice of feet” from newborn to nursing home. Imagine my surprise, while strolling through the Pet Expo in Orlando, when I spotted this pet bed in the shape of a croc!!! I have to say it is pretty funny. They call it the Sasquatch Pet Bed. It comes in six colors and has a sock that can be easily removed for washing. All I could think when I saw this was “WOW”!!! Now you and your pet can match!!! Now that Christmas is over, I would have to say that the 4 fur kids in this household all believe in Santa. They were asking me if Santa is a human or if he is ~ you know ~ one of them. And of course some of the fur kids left dog bones for Santa and some left cookies ~ both of which were gone. Sooooo believers they are!!!! Something that was totally unexpected was a Wish list from Santa himself. He loves the leather collars that the fur kids here are wearing and noticed that they are all handmade. He had more questions about HOW they are made and I was able to tell him about “our” workshop and how the leather collars here are made with tools that were used to make mens’ leather belts back in the 1930′s. Nothing on the collars is done with a machine. The crystals and everything that these collars are embellished with are all hand set so the pressure is different on every crystal, concho, heart, stud, spike etc. That is what everyone ~ including Santa ~ loves about the leather collars that the fur kids at this house wear. I don’t know about your house, but mine is barkin’ about halloween and what fun it’s going to be. Everyone has their costume and they have tried them on multiple times. Waiting anxiously for the day to arrive and taking turns “posing” for the classic photo that we take every year. When I was growing up, we would have never thought of dressing up our family dog. I keep thinking back to the show “Green Acres” and how Zsa Zsa dressed up her yorkie. My gosh!!!! The woman was ahead of her time!!! I’m not exactly sure what she dressed her dog in for halloween, but I’m sure she didn’t have the choices that we have. There are Yoda costumes, Inmate costumes, various insects, Superheroes, as well as the traditional scary witches and Dracula costumes. The ideas are endless…..comparable to purses and shoes. But, getting back to what we were originally barkin’ about…..Kippy is a football player, Bomber is a lion, Brassy Sue is a bumble bee. Happy Howl-O-ween to you!!!

The minute I saw these beds I just knew that I had to have one!!! I never knew that they made such cool beds. Every bed that I’ve seen is square, round, plain, blah, blah, blah……..But a Sniffany & Co. bed?????? Wow!!! But it gets better…..They also have a Furcedes bed, a 50′s bed, a taxi and the list goes on. That just covers the beds. Now if you’re looking for cool toys, they got that covered too.
