If your fur baby is having the same problem that mine have had for years with the ugly, runny, tear stained eyes, you’ll be happy to know that I have finally found a great product:-) In the past I have always been skeptical of all of the products that are out there that say they can “clear up” those tear stains. Gift Ideas For Your Pet

We are in full Holiday mode around here. All the hustling and bustling getting ready for the upcoming holidays!!! I always like to find the most unique gifts for the fur kids that live at our house, and this year has proven to be no different:-) I love to make my own dog treats from time to time and this nifty pan that I found is perfect for just that!!! It makes 10 dog bone treats at one time in the silicone pan and the recipes are included! I’m going to have to have one of those for sure! I don’t know about you….but I have stockings that need to be full on Christmas morning and this will be perfect!

Something else that I happened to find on my great “holiday gift hunt” were these little dog bone shaped cakes! They are the perfect size for my two fur babies when we decide to have a party! Sometimes we just pretend that someone is having a birthday just to have a party:-) The other thing that’s cool about these is that they are microwavable with a candle included:-) Another perfect stocking stuffer…..for a fur kid or its’ owner!

So now you should be all set for the holidays!!! Just don’t forget to throw in a new collar, harness and leash:-)

Calming your Dog ~ Thunder and Fireworks

I love fireworks ~ in fact ~ we ARE the firework entertainment for our lake:-) My dogs hate it!!! My little Brassy Sue has no idea that it’s her pappa that is shooting all those fireworks!!! When it’s all over, he arrives on the scene, and she tells him everything that happened while he was gone:-))) She’s a pappa’s girl so once again……he looks like the hero! Bomber Moose is a momma’s boy and he hates it but he hangs in there with me until the end. If you have the same issues with loud noises with your dog, here is a link to check out. Halloween is Happenin’

What a fun ~ fun time we had this year trick-or-treating:-) The costumes were the best….everyone thought we were all soooo cute:-))) Kippy was a blue Blow Fish, Lily was a Banana Split, Bomber Moose was a Monkey and I, Brassy Sue, was a witch!!! On Saturday we got to go to Auntie’s Studio www.colorsplashstudio.com and pass out candy to all the kids in town. Whew!!! I’ve never seen so many kids in all my dog years!!! On Sunday we got to dress up in our costumes again ~ but THIS time WE got to be the kids:-) First stop was Grandma’s house. She always has lots of people at her house on Halloween and everybody loved our costumes!!! Grandma’s are the best because she always have special treats for us:-))) Mom doesn’t know that Grandma has a special “stash” just for us kids….and we’re not telling her:-) Hope your Halloween treatin’ was as fun as ours!!!

We’re Mom’s Punkins

We don’t know what your yard looks like but we are having a blast playing in all the leaves:-) We’re kinda bummed that it’s too cold to go swimming, but we’re loving this cooler weather! Nothing is more fun than running thru the leaves and chasing squirrels:-) Sometimes we even find an old “chewey” that we kinda forgot about ~ and when that happens…..we just have to lay in the leaves for a bit and give it a chew:-) Mom’s got the place all decorated for fall with the punkins and everything. She’s even got the bows in our hair because she likes us to look festive! Happy Halloween!!!

Oil Spill Needs Your Pet Fur

Who knew that our pets’ fur could help with this environmental disaster. There are many grooming salons that have been shipping donations of pet fur to aid in creating absorbent booms to soak up and remove oil from the recent spill in the Gulf. Once fur shipments arrive in the Gulf Coast region, volunteers gather to assemble the booms and prepare for their deployment. The booms are made by stuffing donated nylon stockings with hair and fur. With this collaborative effort, up to a ton of fur a day will be shipped. This is a wonderful way for all of us pet owners to help protect our environment.

The New Photography Studio

The holidays are over and we are excited about the new studio that we renovated!!! What fun it is to watch a room totally be transformed into something new:-) The “kids” got a little paint in their hair, but they were having such a good time running around there playing and chasing each other. Kippy is such a trooper….he’s with his mom every step of the way in whatever she decides to do. He wanted to make sure that he was the first to get his photo taken in this new studio. So we took one of Kippy on the paint ladder and then we piled all the kids on the paint ladder.
