I don’t know about your house, but mine is barkin’ about halloween and what fun it’s going to be. Everyone has their costume and they have tried them on multiple times. Waiting anxiously for the day to arrive and taking turns “posing” for the classic photo that we take every year. When I was growing up, we would have never thought of dressing up our family dog. I keep thinking back to the show “Green Acres” and how Zsa Zsa dressed up her yorkie. My gosh!!!! The woman was ahead of her time!!! I’m not exactly sure what she dressed her dog in for halloween, but I’m sure she didn’t have the choices that we have. There are Yoda costumes, Inmate costumes, various insects, Superheroes, as well as the traditional scary witches and Dracula costumes. The ideas are endless…..comparable to purses and shoes. But, getting back to what we were originally barkin’ about…..Kippy is a football player, Bomber is a lion, Brassy Sue is a bumble bee. Happy Howl-O-ween to you!!!

As you all know, Kippy is our first yorkie, but anyone who owns a yorkie knows that they are like eating cookies:-) You can’t have just one:-) For one thing, they like to play ALL the time. So unless you want to be their playmate 24/7, you remedy that right away. Well, we did that……three more times:-) Call us crazy, but this household is anything but boring. We have Lily Jean, who is absolutely adorable. She is a rescue and is as sweet as can be. Then we have Bomber Moose, who likes to keep things “rockin” around here. And our newest addition is Brassy Sue. She is very sassy and is a good match for Bomber. Kippy is often the referee when they are playing. Kippy attends most of the art fairs that we do, but if he’s unable to be there then Bomber is usually there. We just wanted you to meet the “pack”.

Most everyone we meet wants to know where we came up with name “Kippy & Co”. Well…….. meet Kippy. He is the inspiration behind that name. He’s a happy-go-lucky yorkie that just plain loves playing soccer and being outside. It doesn’t matter if it’s raining, snowing, or sunny. He plays soccer in any kind of weather. He’s crazy about the game!!! He’s extremely smart so sometimes we have to “spell” words because he knows what we’re talking about:-) That sounds really funny, but it’s true. He has a “sister” named Lily, a “brother” named Bomber, and we just added a fourth one to our “pack”. Her name is Brassy. Kippy’s days are filled with yorkie fun.
